Assets Register Report

The Assets Register Report displays assets that are registered in the system for a particular period.

How to view the Assets Register Report

To view the Assets Register Report you go to Accounting/Assets register/Assets Register Report. A screen will appear looking as follows:

N:B  The grouping order shall appear in ascending order e.g if you choose the grouping order to be by location and you had places like King Fahd Plaza, Garden City and Amber House, Conrad Plaza then the first place under location shall be Amber House followed by Conrad Plaza, Garden city and others as seen below.

• Branch Code: Choose the branch code from the drop-down or tick the Check for all Branches checkbox to include all branches.
• Cost Center: From the drop down box, select the suitable department or center that you would like to generate a report about assets or tick the Check for all centers.
• Purchased between: When you want to generate a report for assets bought between a certain period of time,enter the dates for that period, e.g., for assets bought between "01/01/2018" and "31/12/2020".
• Supplier:  Select a particular supplier from the drop down box or select the Check for all box in order to have a report for all suppliers.  
• You can also generate reports for only items that were Sold or Not Sold or tick the Check for all checkbox to include all the items that exist in the organisation. 
• You can generate reports for only items that are Active or Not Active or tick the Check for all checkbox to include all the items that exist in the organisation. 
• Depreciation between:  State the range of rates in percentage of the assets for which you would like to generate a report on asset depreciation, e.g., "0% to 99%" . Since different assets may have different depreciation rates. Only assets within that rate range will be displayed
• Cost price between:  Enter the range of monetary value at purchase for assets which you would like to generate an asset report for, e.g., "0 and 999,999,999".The system will display only assets that fall between that range.

Note that the maximum value supported in Loan Performer is 999,999,999.99.

• Book value between: Enter the range of the net monetary value of assets that you would like to generate a report for. e.g., "0 and 999,999,999"..
• Grouping Order:  Select from the drop down box the way your report should display information. This can be by Asset Reference, Description of the asset, Serial number, Location, Purchase Date, Supplier or Date Sold. 

Select any other required additional options or use the default selections. For additional information on these options you can refer to Accounting Reports Formats

Click on the OK button to view the report which will look similar to the following:

Click on the Close button to exit the menu.
